This Hanuman Temple at Kasauli hills is of great religious importance to Hindus. There is a story behind this temple linked with Ramayana. It is believed that Hanuman Ji had stepped over this top most point on hills while flying with Gandhamadan Parvat to bring Sanjavni Booti for the treatment of Laxman Ji who was injured and went to coma in Lanka while fighting with Meghnadh. The top of the point has got an impression of Hanuman Ji's feet. Manki Point gives a mesmerising view of Kasauli hills and valley. Sukhna Lake at Chandigarh is also visible from the top. Manki point is inside Air Force Station and any electronic equipment including cell-phones and cameras are not permitted inside. Id=Proof is required to get a gate pass for entry to the station.

Kasauli is also famous for Doordarshan Station and TV broadcast Tower rising high within Town.

Day 1: Chandigarh to Manali

Meals: Dinner

The tour at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station where Discover Yatra's representative will receive you & you will proceed for Manali for relaxed and fun filled next 8 days of vacation in Himachal. On the way to Manali enjoy the scenic beauty of Shivalik Hills, passing through Govind Sagar Lake (Asia's largest manmade lake).

Reach Manali and check in to hotel.

Day 2: Rohtang Pass - Rahala Water Falls - Rani Nullah Falls - Gulaba

Meals : Breakfast & Dinner

After Breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Rohtang Pass visiting Rahala Water Falls, Rani Nullah falls, Gulaba. Return back to hotel in the evening for dinner & Over Night Stay.

Rahala Water Falls: 16kms on the way to Rohtang pass. If one goes to Marhi on foot from Kothi from the old road, the sight of the falls is fascinating. It is a good picnic spot as well.

Day 3: Manali Local Sightseeing (Hadimba Devi temple - Vashisht Kund - Buddhist Monastery - Club House)

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

After Breakfast proceed for Local sightseeing Tour of Manali covering Hadimba Devi temple, Vashisht Kund, Buddhist monastery, Club House etc. Dinner & night stay at the Hotel

Day 4: Manali to Shimla (Vaishno Devi temple at Kullu - Shamshi Shawl Industry)

Meals : Breakfast & Dinner

Post breakfast proceed for Shimla. On the way to Shimla visit Vaishno Devi temple and Shawl industry at Kullu.

Reach Shimla in the evening, check in to hotel. Later spend your evening at The Ridge Shimla, you can also do shopping at famous Mall Road Shimla. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Kufri & Shimla Local Sightseeing

Meals : Breakfast & Dinner

After breakfast proceed for Kufri to witness the stunning scenery of the Himalayas. Visit Indira Bungalow & the Himalayan Zoo(closed on Monday). In case, Monday falls on this day, guests would be taken to Naldhera Golf Course instead of Kufri.

In the afternoon, visit Ridge Scandal Point & Shimla Church. Night Stay & dinner at hotel in Shimla.

Day 6: Shimla to Kasuli

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Post breakfast proceed for Kasauli. In the afternoon, you may visit local bazaar and enjoy shopping and eating out at local food joints. Spend a relaxed evening with your loved ones.

Day 7: Manki Point

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Post Breakfast, we will proceed to Manki Point. You will have to leave your mobile phones, camera and other electronic devices before entering Air Force Base. Please note there is no facility of lockers to keep your belongings, so you should leave it at hotel or cab.

You will have to climb more than hundred stairs to reach the top point. Visit Hanuman Mandir at the top and enjoy mesmerizing views. There is a snacks shop where you can get something to eat and drink.

Later return to your hotel and evening is free at leisure

Day 8: Kasauli to Chandigarh

Meals: Breakfast

Post breakfast, check-out from hotel and proceed to Chandigarh. if time permits, you may visit Yadvindra Garden, Pinjore on the way to Chandigarh. Drop at Chandigarh airport/railway station for your onward journey.
