Sikkim is a landlocked Indian state located in the Himalayan Mountains sharing its border with Nepal in the west and Bhutan in the east, with the Tibetan plateau rising from its northern border. It has been given many - The Lepchas, original inhabitants of the land called it Nye-mae-el `paradise'. The Limbus named it Su Khim or `new house' while to the Bhutias it was Beymul Demazong `the hidden valley of rice'.
The enchanting town of Darjeeling or “The Queen of Hills” located at an altitude of 7000 feet and sharing borders with Nepal, Bhutan and Sikkim nestled in the grandeur of the snow-capped mountains and lush green tea gardens. The name Darjeeling has been derived from the Tibetan word Dorjee-ling’, meaning ‘Place of the Thunderbolt’. During the British rule it was a holiday resort which still exudes its past grandeur, charm and majesty.

On your arrival at railway station or airport, our representative will meet and greet you. Start your journey for the beautiful hill town of Gangtok. Check in to the hotel on arrival and later spend your evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast visit Ban Jhakri Water Park located 4 kms away from Gangtok nestled amidst a lush green valley spread over two acres, surrounded by trees and a gushing mountain river. The Park has a shamanistic theme. The park includes a waterfall and has well laid out trails to wander along with gazebos placed at convenient spots to soothe weary legs while the eyes can continue to marvel over the gushing streams and falls.
Later visit Ranka Monastery, Chortan, stupa, Namgyal Institute of Tibet ology, Institute of Handicrafts & Handlooms, Bartuk Waterfalls, Flower Exhibition & Tashi View Point constructed by the erstwhile King of Sikkim. It gives beautiful scenic views, and is the perfect place to look at the abundant natural panoramic bounty of Sikkim. On clear days, Kanchunjunga is clearly visible and visitors can also see the Labrang Monastery and Phodong Monastery on the opposite hill. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast day excursion trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people, after that we will visit the Baba Mandir . This “mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army. He died near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim. Two shrines have been built to show reverence to Baba Harbhajan Singh. The old one has been built at the site of the bunker, where Baba Harbhajan was posted during his tenure in the Indian Army. The new one has been built at close proximity from Changu Lake. Later return back to Gangtok.
Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling. Once the summer holiday resort of India during British rule, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature charming Himalayan people. Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Overnight at Hotel.
Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and it’s amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchenjunga (Worlds 3rd highest peak). The blaze of rapidly changing colors of the snow peaks as the sun strikes is an awesome view to watch.
On return journey visit one of the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Darjeeling area built in the year 1850-Yiga Choeling Monastery of Ghoom . The Monastery belongs to the Yellow Hat sect also known as the Gelupka. One of the key attractions inside the monastery is the 15-foot model of the Lord Buddha which is known as The Maitreya Buddha or the Gyalwa Shampa which means the Buddha of the future or the Coming Buddha.
Later visit War memorial and return back to hotel.After breakfast followed by proceed for half day best point local sightseeing covering Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center and Rock side. After that visit to the Mall (Chowrasta) along with local Market for City Life. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the nearest railway station or airport. Board your train or flight for return journey.
