Around 2500 years ago King Suddhodhana and Queen Maya Devi in Nepal gave birth to a child called Siddhartha Gautam as prince of Royal Kingdom of Kapilvastu, Lumbini. In quest of enlightenment Prince Siddhartha traveled an unknown path from Nepal to India. The little child Sidhhartha was latter known as Buddha - The Awakened One, founder of the World's youngest religion.
The 6 nights 7 days package covers all the important places associated with Lord Buddha such as Lumbini - The birthplace of Lord Budhha. At Sarnath, which is located in Uttar Pradesh is the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to his five companions after his enlightenment. This event is referred to as Turning of the Wheel of Dhamma and marks the foundation of the Sangha.
Bodh Gaya, situated in the state of Bihar where under the Bodhi tree- Tree of Awakening, Siddhartha Gautama attained supreme knowledge to become Buddha- "Enlightened One".
Kushinagar - the place where Lord Buddha breathed his last, leaving a message for all mankind to find their salvation fall ill and left this world in 543 BC.
Sravasti where Buddha performed most of his sermons. During the monsoon, he used to stay at the
Arrival at Patna or Bodhgaya by air. Drive to Bodhgaya where the Buddha attained enlightenment and which is one of the most sacred pilgrimage place for the Buddhist. Enroute visit Nalanda and Rajgir. Nalanda-a great center of Buddhist learning and one of the most famed university citadels of ancient times. Rajgir, it was once the ancient capital of the powerful Kingdom of Maghada. From the out-skirts of Rajgir, a historic road leads to Gridhakuta or vultures peak where the Buddha preached. Here the first Buddhist Council was held after the Lord's Mahaparinirvana. Arrive in Bodhgaya and overnight in Bodhgaya.

Post breakfast visit the sacred Mahabodhi Temple - where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment under a Bodhi tree. Later enjoy the sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya visiting Niranjana River, Sujata Village and many beautiful monasteries.Also visit the Great Buddha Statue, Mahakala (Dungeswari Cave), Vajrasana, Vishnupada temple & other attractions.
Overnight stay at Bodhgaya.
After breakfast proceed to Varanasi one of the oldest living cities of the world. On reaching Varanasi, trip to Sarnath (12 kms from Varanasi). Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha had preached his first sermon to his five disciples after attaining enlightenment. Visit Dhamekh Stupa, Archeolocial Museum & other attarctions at Sarnath & later return back to Varanasi in the evening. You can join the famous Ganga Aarti.
Overnight stay at Hotel in Varanasi.
Early morning we will have a boat ride on the holy river Ganges. The boat ride gives us an opportunity of rendezvous with the ghats of Varanasi. After the boat ride we will proceed to hotel for breakfast and then will head towards Kushinagar. It is the place where Lord Buddha breathed his last here, leaving a message for all mankind to find their salvationfall ill and left this world in 543 BC. His mortal remains were preserved in eight commemorative chortens, and then further distributed by King Ashoka into 84,000 stupas across his kingdom and beyond.
After reaching Kushinagar, check-in to hotel for night stay.
In the morning leave Kushinagar & proceed for Lumbini. It is the birth place of Buddha - Mayadevi Temple. It is recognised as a supreme pilgrimage site and symbol of world peace. Lumbini evokes the same kind of holy sentiment to the millions of Buddhists all over the world as does Jerusalem to Christians and Mecca to Muslims.
Later proceed for Sravasti. It is the place where Buddha performed most of his sermons. During the monsoon, he used to stay at the Jetavana monastery on the outskirts of this town. Sravasti was founded by legendary king Sravast. The place is devoted to Lord Buddha and it is believed that Lord Buddha performed many miracles at Sravasti.
Morning visit Sravasti (Sahet-Mahet), capital of the ancient Kingdom of Kosala, an active centre for Buddhism. After sighseeing proceed to Lucknow. Overnight in Lucknow.
In the morning leave Lucknow for your destination.
